Our practice at the Coachella Valley's only trauma center, Desert Regional Medical Center (DRMC), usually consists of approximately 85% blunt to 15% penetrating trauma.

Desert Regional Medical Center has a very active trauma service with approximately 7,250 trauma visits and 850 trauma admissions annually to their dedicated Trauma ICU. We offer state-of-the-art equipment; the physicians and nurses at this Level II trauma center provide care for trauma patients flown in from more than 800 square miles.
